Chairman’s Message
SLFFA since its inception 30 years ago has kept to its objective to make the Freight Forwarding & Logistics services a professional outfit in the country keeping abreast with the global development. It’s membership though fierce competitors have always united in matters affecting the industry and in finding solutions towards serving the users efficiently and productively.
End to end Supply Chain Solutions is key to many businesses and outsourcing such services are ever increasing. Sri Lanka on the other hand is driving itself to be the Hub for South Asia. In this scenario the role of the freight forwarder is getting more important than ever before.
SLFFA as the apex industry body will continue to partner with the Government and non-Governmental advocacy groups to bring in the much needed changes in the logistic environment for the benefit of Freight Forwarding/Logistics fraternity as well its users. It’s our proactive and definitive action with the support and participation of the membership that can overcome our challenges and achieve our goals.
